This is definitely a strange period to live in.
White men and masculinity are constantly under attack in the media and in the firm I work for, there’s a massive push to install women and close the fictitious wage gap.
Western cultures are fast descending into chos and the end game is what I can’t pin point.

The western way is changing simply because women have such a massive voice these days, whether it’s a good thing or not remains to be seen. Personally i reckon the muslims will be running the country because of it in a few generations time as our young men are being brought up weak minded.

It all got worse when blokes started dutifully playing along with the myth that is "man flu". I know an equal proportion of blokes and women who are pathetic when they have a slight cold.
I once tore a strip off a female work colleague who was ranting about blokes and man flu, pointing out that the majority of recent absences had been women. I was looked at as if I had just killed someone.
The idea that men are quivering messes and women are the smart, strong ones is also continually perpetuated in the media and has been for some time.
It's called over-compensating I think and I'll be fucked if I'm going along with it.

I thought I was the only one who thought what a load of bollocks the "man flu" thing was. Before about 5 years ago it didn't exist.
In answer to Nurse's question it's cos the vast majority of normal blokes (and women, tbf) are too busy working hard and raising families to get actively involved in all this shite (short of venting about it on the internet about what a load of bollocks it is of course).
Lefty feminist Twitterati SJWs tend to not have those responsibilities so can spend as much time as they like taking to the streets etc. over these total bullshit issues before embarking on their family-connected careers in the media and academia where they'll pretty much spend the rest of their lives doing the same and getting paid for it, and so the cycle continues.

See also the "men don't grow up" thing. Blokes well into their 30s getting excited by video games, sharing pics on facebook of their dream "man cave" (that looks like a 13 year old's bedroom but with a beer fridge), stuff like "my wife told me to tie her up and do whatever i wanted, so i went fishing and cracked open a cold one with the boys".
And the fact it's almost fashionable these days for women to be proud of being socially awkward and neurotic (pics of minions with quotes about being clumsy, stuff about how they're "bipolar" etc)
Is this just getting old, is this just limited to facebook, is it a global jewish/lizard conspiracy, or what?
